Description
We’re proud to introduce the impressive Clematis Guernsey Flute by renowned Clematis breeder Raymond J. Evison. The exquisite large star-shaped, pure white flowers – some 5" across – with red anthers, are formed from May through to July, with reliable repeat flowering into September.
Clematis Guernsey Flute is truly unique. It has a charming quirk of keeping its flower buds open for longer, almost like a champagne flute, hence the use of "flute" in its name. As the flowers mature, they open up completely, displaying thick, pointed sepals and a generous flower size. With its compact growth and height ranging from 47", this Clematis would be a fantastic addition to your patio. It would also look great in the middle or front of a flower border, where you can fully enjoy its long-lasting succession of blooms.
